Pyramid Consulting Received CMMi Level 4 Certification

Pyramid Consulting Inc., a global provider of cost effective and efficient IT products and services, today announced that its New Delhi, India outsourced development center has achieved Maturity Level 4 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). With this certification, Pyramid is confirmed to deliver process-driven business solutions for its clients.

A lead assessor from KPMG conferred this milestone following Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Class A Appraisal. The Maturity Level 4 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) assessment includes Software and Systems Engineering Disciplines, Staged Representation (CMMI-SW/SE) version 1.1 and covers software development, product development and maintenance.
With CMMI certification, Pyramid IT Consulting joins the elite list of global companies that have achieved Level 4. The assessment confirms Pyramid IT consulting capabilities in architecting end-to-end, process-driven business solutions for its global clients. It also ensures predictable on-time delivery, and defect free software to its customers. The CMMI® model was developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pa. and is an enhanced version of the Capability Maturity Model that integrates various models to reduce the redundancy and complexity. This model allows organizations to increase their customer focus and improve performance in delivery management.
